Background

Overview
The group was established in 2015 after completion of the Professional Certificate in International Trade (PCIT) offered by the University of Adelaide. The group is composed of various professionals from private and public sector accross the continent sponsored by the Australia-Africa Fellowship and hosted at the University of Stellenbosh and Universty of Cape Town. AFRATA aims to share skills and expertise in various araes of national, regional and global trade.

We wish to witness a free and fair continental transformation in trade liberalization. Trade plays a key role towards the development of Africa to enhance the livelihoods of the most resource rich continent in the world. If trade barriers are elimininated there will be real improvement in deeper regional cooperation.

We are building a research platform to share analytical viewpoints on trade happening all over the world with special focus ont the African continent.

Our mentors, trainers and consultants are facilitators with vast experience in global trade in various topics, subjects and expertise.
